Overview
The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the SBI CBO Notification 2025 to recruit 2964 Circle Based Officers (CBO) across various SBI circles in India. The notification was published on 9th May 2025 under Advertisement No. CRPD/CBO/2025-26/03. This recruitment includes 2600 regular vacancies and 364 backlog vacancies.
The online application process has already begun and will remain open until 29th May 2025. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank. Freshers are not eligible.
The selection process includes an Online Test, Screening, and an Interview. Selected candidates will be placed in the circle they apply for and will not be eligible for inner-circle transfers for up to 12 years or until promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is later.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

- Minimum 2 years as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or RRB.

- 21 to 30 years (born between 01.05.1995 and 30.04.2004).

Cut-offs will depend on vacancies and exam performance. Previous year cut-offs ranged between 60–68 marks for General category in most states.
