Rally Locations
Candidates from all districts of India can apply and attend the rally at one of the following venues:
- 2 ASC C/O Race Course Camp, Air Force Station, New Delhi
- 7 ASC, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive)
- Maximum age at enrolment: 21 years
Marital & Parental Status
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
- Female candidates must agree not to get pregnant during the 4-year engagement
Education
- Passed 10th / Matriculation from a recognized board
Musical Skills
Must have proficiency in:
- Tempo, pitch, and singing a full song
- Playing at least one instrument from the lists below
- Reading musical notations like staff notation, tonic solfa, Hindustani or Carnatic
List A Instruments:
Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba
List B Instruments:
Keyboard, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Drums, Indian Classical Instruments
Preferred: Ability to play one instrument from both lists
Musical Experience (Any one of the following)
- Grade 5 or higher from TCL, RSM, KM Conservatory, etc.
- Diploma in Hindustani/Carnatic music
- Certificate of participation/awards in music competitions
Medical Standards
- Height: Male – 162 cm | Female – 152 cm (Relaxation for NE/hilly areas)
- Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
- Vision: 6/12 in each eye (correctable to 6/6), CP-II color vision
- Dental: Minimum 14 dental points
- Must be physically and mentally fit with no permanent body tattoos

Selection Process

- Musical Instrument Proficiency Test
- English Written Test (30 mins – 10th level – no negative marking)
- Adaptability Test-I & II
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)PFT I:
- 1.6 Km Run – Male: 7 mins, Female: 8 mins
- Male: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats
- Female: 10 Sit-ups, 15 Squats
- Medical Examination (Conducted in July 2025)
- Includes X-ray, blood, urine, ECG, ultrasound, etc.
