Ram Charan is back with a bang! After the mixed response to Game Changer, the star is now all set to rule the screen with Peddi, a raw and rustic entertainer directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana. The makers dropped the first glimpse of the film on the occasion of Rama Navami, and fans are already loving Ram Charan’s intense new avatar.
In the one-minute video titled Peddi First Shot, we see a bearded Ram Charan, sporting a nose ring and dressed in rugged attire, leaping across tractors, running through dusty fields, and dramatically wielding a cricket bat like a weapon. Whether this is a full-fledged sports drama or just a glimpse of a much deeper story remains to be seen, but the hype is real.
The film is officially set to release in theatres on March 27, 2026, and is backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings. What’s even more exciting? The music is composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, marking his first-ever collaboration with both Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana.
