What is the Haryana CET Exam?

The Haryana CET (Common Eligibility Test) is a common entrance test for government jobs in Haryana. This exam is mandatory for all candidates who wish to apply for Group C and Group D recruitments.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Group C Posts: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Group D Posts: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10).

Age Limit:

• Applicants should be between 18 and 42 years of age as of June 12, 2025
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:
  • SC/ST/OBC: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
  • Benchmark Disability: 10 years
  • Unmarried Women/Widows: Up to 47 years .

Nationality:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens

Number of Attempts:

• There is no restriction on the number of attempts, provided the candidate is within the eligible age limit.

Experience:

• No prior experience is required; freshers are eligible to apply.

Application Process

1. Visit the official HSSC website: hssc.gov.in
2. Click on the “Online Registration” link.
3. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) by providing necessary details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and Aadhaar number.
4. Log in using the credentials created during OTR.
5. Fill in personal and academic details, and upload required documents including a scanned photograph and signature.
6. Pay the application fee online using credit/debit card or UPI.
7. Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference .

• General (Male): ₹500
• SC/BC/EWS/PH: ₹250
• Ex-Servicemen and All Females: ₹250
• Without PPP/Aadhaar:
  • General (Male): ₹1000
  • SC/BC/EWS/PH: ₹500
  • Ex-Servicemen and All Females: ₹500

Payment should be made online, and the last date for fee payment is June 14, 2025, by 6:00 PM .

Exam Details

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • General Category: 50%

Certificate Validity

• The Haryana CET certificate is valid for three years.
